Green Perigord
 
As described by Jules Verne in his travels, Green Perigord covers a north crescent of the department of Dordogne. It retains, through its hills, its humid climate and its impervious soil, green vegetation, even in the heart of the driest summers.
Water is everywhere: streams converge on Bandiat, the Tardoire or sink in a dense procession to the Dronne, the Isle or the Auvézère.

EXCIDEUIL
