Vers PeriWeb, le Perigord

PériWeb, le Périgord: www.jj-rey.net/perigord/

Whether or not you already know the Perigord region of South West France, click on the box above to find out more about my birth-place. You'll discover a wealth of historical, geographical and gastronomical information, and for those wishing to plan a holiday, I've included a list of towns with the tourist information office phone number.

The area is divided into four parts, each called after a colour: white, green, black or purple. Why these colours? Find out by following the guide through the hills and vales of the Dordogne. You will also find a list of festivals and events which take place throughout the year. Information is available in French or English and a Spanish version should soon be added.

Finally, don't forget to sign the visitors' book, with any suggestions you might have or other sites to recommend.

Vers Union des Potes

L'Union des Potes: www.jj-rey.net/udp/

L'Union des Potes was first published in 1990, thanks to a bright idea from Arnaud Viez (aviez@teaser.fr) alias Nono and Paul Grolleron (pgrolleron@teaser.fr) alias Paulot Beauleon, plus an old Apple //, scissors, glue and a lot of hard work.

We would like to thank Mr MacIntosh whose computers have facilitated our task considerably since then. The printed version is sent by post to 40 favoured readers, most of whom have been in on the adventure from the beginning as members of the group "Reunions".

In June 1995, the web version came into being, adding web surfers everywhere to our happy readers. You are cordially invited to join their number, to contribute an article and/or to sign the visitors' book, thus leaving a trace of your enthusiasm for posterity. French version only.

Calling all computer fans...

Whilst surfing on the web and making up these pages, I have come across different JavaScripts which are relatively easy to use and I stored them on my compter.

Then I thought "Why not share them with everyone else?" I am therefore putting them on line in the hopes that they might be of use to someone.

P.S. Although some of them were made up or adapted from the originals by me, I am not the author of them all, so if some are copyright, please let me know. Thank you.

Warning! weekends...

Don't be surprised if I don't reply to your mail during the next couple of days.
My phone hasn't been disconnected, I haven't thrown my computer out of the window, I've simply shut up shop and gone off for a break.

If I'm not here....
